Arrow: Broken Arrow

same bro, SAAAME
It's been a while since the latest Arrow episode made everyone gasp in horror and shock. Roy decided all of a sudden to out himself as the Arrow saving Oliver from being arrested, but inadvertently putting himself into an orange jumpsuit. Oh, the fickle youth, they must always try to be the better hero. Detective Lance despite Oliver being cleared from responsibility is still on his man-hunt, and it's clearly due to personal issues. It's always interesting to see what the Lance family does after someone kicks the bucket.

I'm glad it's not a round of alcoholic beverages, but can somebody straighten him up soon?

Does he need to start hallucinating Sarah or...?

He's just going through the same thing his character did in season one, and though it is throwing a wrench into Team Arrow's planning in general it's kind of getting repetitive. I know what this whole season is about, and it's about Oliver taking back Oliver Queen besides the Arrow. It's about knowing you can be more than a one layered person, but of course people have got to get hurt during the process of this evident self discovery. I'm just waiting for the bomb to drop, though not literally, but Az as I'll call him is more or less the literal bomb - then we know it'll happen before the series finale.

Besides of course the blatant issues of Roy being in prison, there's of course this new laser eyes meta human who shows up when the city is without its usual vigilante. Unfortunately this proves problematic in more ways than one, since Oliver is out but the Arrow can't exactly be. Felicity, ever the clever girl suggests Ray, and if it wasn't apparent that Oliver's jealous it's very obvious now.

The man is unable to keep certain thoughts that I suspect were going to be internal, actually internal, and Felicity of course notices. Thankfully Ray who is in the Atom suit is totally clueless to this predicament, though he does notice that Felicity hasn't reciprocated his 'I love you'. He quickly falls back on it not being a big I love you, but a small one.

Tough luck there Ray. Does Felicity know how to pick them or what? She just stumbles upon hero after hero, though clearly the one she can say the l-word to is Mr I don't know who I am. Yes, Oliver, obviously. If you haven't been hit with the obvious sledgehammer that is the Olicity ship I do not know what show you're watching (obviously not this one).

Then there's flashback Oliver who's going through a rough time finding out that the supposedly heartless Lautner or whoever her name is spelled like, has been kept hostage by the man who released him, and hasn't actually been out to get him like he thought.

Unlike season one and two, the past flashbacks haven't resonated so deeply, occasionally making me mentally drift off and return, finding I didn't miss out so much. Not that I'm not intrigued, but I feel the plot line that has been dealt is wafer thin compared to prior seasons - at least the latter portion of it. Let's hope the conclusion is better dealt with, as one needs to know why his past BFF is suddenly in Az's group of douche faces.

So, now, we know what's coming. Or well, if you've seen the episode that is. If you haven't seen the episode continue your merry way really.

I always knew Az was a fuckboy, but the degree of fuckboy couldn't be rightfully determined. Yes, he did some shit stuff, but I thought the worst at his charge this episode would be kidnapper.

Queen's family's most common cause of death, big ass samurai swords.

We might not have seen Thea Queen fading from this world entirely, but I do not know what to feel right now. Her brother had a similar fate, but he survived with a helping hand. Let's hope Oliver decides to relinquish her of her suffering considering Roy is actually okay in the end despite appearances, though, choosing this moment to fly the nest? Is this - all the teens are leaving season three? Also, hell to the yeah, Ray overheard Felicity's clear earnest and easier 'I love you'. By the look on his face he suddenly got the meaning of life and I know everyone on tumblr seems to hate the guy. For me he is literally the male version of Felicity and just as inquisitive when it comes to her feelings as she's with Oliver, but the thing is, she isn't that way with him. Not the way she should be anyway. We all know how this is going to play out. Well... if you've seen the trailer that is.
